9 White Lion Street is a five storey building which was built circa 1980s, with a rooftop extension added circa 1991 and consists of restaurant at ground with office use to the upper floors.
To the rear are Units 4 & 5 are a single storey double height building accessed from White Lion Street via a way through no. 9 which leads to an existing service yard.
SCH’s proposals is to create a vibrant mixed-use development suitable for a ‘commercial led corridor’ and the Central Activities Zone. 9 White Lion Street will be extended to supply additional office space whilst to the rear, the yard will be landscaped and a new mixed-use building will accommodate office and residential uses.
