Our building forms part of the St. Martin’s Courtyard Development, a major project for the urban regeneration of a two-acre site on the western edge of London’s Covent Garden. It lies within an obsolete former NCP car park on the corner of Mercer Street and the new St. Martin’s Courtyard.
The building occupies the northeast corner of the site. It spans from Mercer Street to the east through to the new courtyard and north to Shelton Street. As part of the overall site development a new east to west pedestrian link was inserted between Mercer Street, the courtyard space and beyond to Soho. The building is a nineteenth century coachworks of solid Victorian construction with robust detailing and a strong presence.
We have created a mixture of studios, one and two bed apartments and three bed penthouses. The entrance is from the new vibrant courtyard space bringing activity 24/7 to this mixed-use development. Most apartments have extensive external terraces or winter gardens. The winter gardens provide an acoustic and visual buffer to the hustle and bustle of city life.
