The Mansoojat Gallery was designed in collaboration with Fouad Samara, a former employee now based in the Middle East. The brief was to develop a building to display a specific collection of Saudi Arabian costume. The proposal is to create an architectural promenade around a walled garden with aediculae displaying the costumes. Glimpses of the outer world are afforded by framed views.
Conversely, glimpses of the inner world of the gallery are afforded by projecting display windows that will contain examples of the beautiful costumes.
